welcome!!
over here, music and accounting are like yin and yang. they both dwell in the realm of numbers
Grateful that you have made your way to this corner of the web! If you're looking for an Accountant or need a professional drummer for your next event, you've found the right person!Music is my main way of connecting with people. It transcends boundaries unseen but is felt on a collective level. Whether it is through speech, culture, or history, music and art as a whole fills this world with wonder. Let's explore our wondrous world shall we?!
Let's Start with...
Who I Am
My name is Devon "Dev" Austrie, a touring musician living in Greater Boston. I go by the stage name "D-Sticks" and have been part of Greater Boston's music scene since 2017. From beyond Boston, I've played all throughout the Northeast, the West Coast, and even internationally in Europe. I love me some nature, good food, outer space, and deep down a nerd at heart! In New England, we are blessed with fabulous vocalists and musicians to co-create with, record music in studio, secure residencies around the city, and collaborate with organizations focused on the creative economy while strengthening our collective society.I'm a bandleader, excel at logistical project management, and for me, it is more than just getting behind the drum set and playing as the impact we're able to make with art is much greater.People tie the knot and specify how important the music is to cap off an unforgettable day. Tens of thousands of people congregate at one stadium just to see one artist do their thing live. We just see how music has transcended boundaries and outlasted civilizations for millennia.Ultimately when you call me, you receive an experienced musician that has had music take him far and create impact outside of just himself. For a brief background on my experience as a musician, check out my cover letter!

That's cool! So...
WHAT DO I DO?
By day, I am reviewing financials and forecasting. By night, I'm providing the 4-count to the start of a song using a pair of drumsticks. The skills I have acquired throughout my career as an Accountant has allowed me to also help my friends and organizations around Greater Boston with their finances. It's been one of my ways in helping to make impact in the lives of those I know personally.Budgeting, financial governance, establishing controls, spearheading strategy, forecasting, GAAP principles, cost allocation of restricted funding. If you are in need of these services, please refer to my resume that has extensive background of my corporate work experience.
